About Collin County Court Docket

Collin County court dockets and case records are divided among the District Clerk, District Courts, County Courts at Law, Justice Courts, and municipal courts. The correct search or request route depends on which court heard the matter. We built this private reference site to help readers reach the right official portal, counter, address, or phone line without having to sort through several Texas and county websites first.

Why We Built This Site

Texas permits broad public access to many court records, yet locating the right custodian can still be difficult. In Collin County, District Clerk Michael Gould keeps filings and court records for the District Courts, while the County Clerk serves the County Courts at Law and other clerks maintain Justice and municipal matters. A docket is the dated record of filings, settings, and court action. County search tools and re:SearchTX can help locate a case, but official or certified documents still come from the clerk that holds the file. This site organizes those search routes, request steps, and verified office details.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Collin County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site. It is not connected with the Texas District Courts, Collin County District Clerk Michael Gould, another clerk, or any government agency. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot promise that every listed phone number, fee, procedure, or setting remains current

An official or certified docket or record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the case. This site can identify the likely office, but it cannot issue the document.

Search Partners

Third-party companies power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. We may receive a referral fee if a visitor follows one of those tools and buys a service, which helps support free access to this resource. We do not set a partner's charges or control the records it returns.
