Questions about official Collin County court dockets and case records belong with the clerk or court that maintains the case. This page separates what a private reference site can do from the services only a Texas court office can provide, then routes common record, copy, and court-date needs to the proper official source.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This privately run reference site cannot retrieve an official docket, reset a setting, seal or remove a case, provide legal advice, or certify a copy. Contact the responsible Collin County clerk or trial court for those services.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use these routes for common Collin County requests:

  • A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case

For District Court dockets and records, contact Collin County District Clerk Michael Gould at the records desk, 2100 Bloomdale Road, Suite 12132, McKinney, TX 75071. The records line is 972-548-4106. Public counter hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The District Clerk keeps District Court pleadings and records, but matters filed in a County Court at Law, Justice Court, or municipal court may require that court's clerk instead.
